Master Vincent A. Affatigato [President] is a 8th degree black belt with 35 years of martial arts experience. As a national and international competitor, he has won medals in ITF World Championship and USA National Championship competitions. In 1999 and 2001, Master Affatigato was the USTF National Grand Champion [Senior Black Belt 5th-6th Dan]. In 1991 due to Master Affatigato's extensive travels for training and competition, the late General Choi Hong Hi selected him as one of the members to film the official ITF Training Video. Master Affatigato has had the privilege to train numerous times with both General Choi and Grandmaster C.E. Sereff. He is a Certified International Instructor with the ITF, as well as being the Head Instructor at Original Taekwon-Do/MMA & Fitness Center located in Brooklyn, NY for over 25 years. As a long-standing member of the USTF, Master Affatigato served as the USTF Region 7 Director for many years. Master Affatigato's knowledge carries an immense demand to conduct free sparring, self-defense and technical seminars both in the United States and abroad. Aside from his training, teaching, and competing, he has worked as both an assistant and head coach with TEAM USA from 1999 to the present in ITF World Championships and International Competitions.
Master Cody R. Springsguth [Vice President] is a 7th degree black belt with 30 years of martial arts experience. Prior to his martial arts training, Master Springsguth served in the United States military. His military leadership and experience drew him to further his education regarding martial arts. He has studied numerous martial arts including: Taekwon-Do, Tang Soo-Do, Escrima, Muay Thai, and Jiu Jitsu.He trained extensively in Taekwon-Do, having numerous training sessions with Grand Master C.E. Sereff. Those training sessions formed a bond, which led to Master Springsguth's honor in calling Grand Master C.E Sereff his instructor. Also, he had the esteemed privilege to train numerous times with the late General Choi Hong Hi in seminars throughout the United States. From the training tools he learned from General Choi Hong Hi and Grand Master C.E. Sereff, Master Springsguth successfully competed in national and international competitions, including the 7th ITF World Championships. Aside from his training, Master Springsguth holds ITF certification as an International Instructor as well as an International Umpire. Master Springsguth has been teaching as the Head instructor at the SoCal Martial Arts Center in Chula Vista, California for 20 years. He has coached a number of students at national and international competitions, including the ITF Junior World Championships. In his free time, Master Springsguth is a high school wrestling coach as well as a mixed martial arts coach.
Master Brian McNamara [Vice President] is a 7th degree black belt with over 30 years of martial arts experience. He began his training with Master Jim Murray in Pottstown, PA. Master McNamara had the privilege to represent his country in competition in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. He was also a member of TEAM USA at the 6th ITF World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. In addition to competing, he has successfully coached numerous athletes in national and international events. Master McNamara trained and tested under Grand Master C.E. Sereff of the USTF. He also had the privilege to train numerous times with the late General Choi Hong Hi. While a member of the USTF, Master McNamara served as the USTF Oregon State Director for many years. In 2013, Master McNamara established Original Taekwon-Do Hood River in Hood River, Oregon. Aside from his teaching and training, Master McNamara operates a successful business in the Hood River area.
